Facilities ManagerFor over a 100 years, the Humane Society of Tampa Bay has been dedicated to ending animal homelessness and providing care and comfort for companion animals in need. We're currently seeking a full time Facilities Manager to oversee the building projects, maintenance and grounds of our Tampa and Clearwater locations. The functions of this role include, but are not limited to, managing projects, building maintenance, overseeing the groundskeeping, fleet maintenance and working closely with our vendors.Duties and responsibilities:Implementing and managing various projects for animal hospital and two shelters (Tampa and Clearwater)Overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of the property groundsMaintaining the fleet of vehiclesBuilding maintenance and repairsWorking with vendors to schedule projects and maintenanceQualifications:Verbal and written communication, including active listening, for determining and discussing building needs and communicating these to contractors, suppliers and the occupantsMathematics and accounting to meet budgets and identify cost-saving measuresCustomer service skillsAnalytical thinking and problem-solvingBusiness management, including scheduling, strategic planning and administrationUnderstanding of current building and safety regulationsComputer literacy and confidence using Microsoft OfficeHigh School Graduate or Equivalent (GED)Good driving record requiredFork lift certified preferredSchedule involves working weekendsSalary is negotiable based on experienceA very generous benefits package - includes the use of a company vehicleExperience working with animals is preferred.Please no phone calls.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
