The Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Therapist (SLP) to support students with a wide range of communication needs. In this role, you will provide screening, assessment, intervention, and consultation services to help students develop effective communication skills and access their educational programs.

This position is ideal for an SLP who values collaboration, evidence-based practice, and creating positive outcomes for students through individualized support.
What You'll Do

• Organize and manage a school-based speech-language program aligned with student needs and organizational goals.
• Conduct screenings, administer assessments, and interpret diagnostic data to determine service eligibility.
• Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans for individuals and groups.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support communication goals across settings.
• Provide guidance on speech, language, and hearing development to parents and school staff.
• Maintain records, prepare required reports, and develop compliant IEPs.
• Adjust interventions based on student performance and promote positive student engagement.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and ethical standards, including timely documentation and compliance procedures.
• Consult with external agencies and make referrals when appropriate.
• Participate in ongoing professional learning and maintain required licensure.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (L-SLP) and/or CCC-SLP certification.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (Microsoft Office).
• Ability to work independently, manage a caseload efficiently, and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to professional ethics and service excellence.
