Respiratory Therapist OpportunityWe're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.Minimum RequirementsAssociate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.Proof of having passed the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). RRT required for new hires after October 1, 2015.Current state respiratory therapist license in good standing with the State License Board for Arizona.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.Minimum of one year of clinical experience with competency in standard respiratory care modalities and mechanical ventilator management.Experience performing pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing per departmental protocols.Ability to perform patient assessments, document care accurately, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.Must meet physical demands of direct patient care, including lifting up to 75 pounds when required.Preferred: additional related education and/or experience.
