Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with Level 3 Nursery experience for a day shift hospital position requiring the ability to attend C-sections and perform intra-hospital transports.

Details

• Hospital-based Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit
• Level 3 Nursery setting with NICU responsibilities
• Intra-hospital patient transports required
• Must be available to attend C-sections
• Day shift, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM, on a rotating 36/48-hour weekly schedule (3x12 or 4x12 hours)
• Every other weekend required
• 2 Fridays worked per 4-week schedule
• No on-call required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• CRTT or RRT credential required
• Active Louisiana (LA) RT license required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP (required for NICU work)
• Level 3 Nursery experience required
• Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy services across hospital units including NICU and delivery/C-section settings
• RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the contract
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
• Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible for a travel assignment
