Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a combined Adult/Pediatric, non-trauma Emergency Department
• Perform triage assessments and manage patient flow in a high-acuity environment
• Administer blood products, manage central lines, perform phlebotomy, and start IVs
• Administer continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, and procedural sedation
• Manage ventilated patients, administer CPAP/BiPAP, and interpret ABGs
• Float to other campus locations as needed and work weekends and holidays per contract requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (two attempts allowed)
• Current driver's license required; candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with triage in a high-volume emergency setting
• Comfort managing ventilated patients and interpreting ABGs in an ED environment
• Flexibility with scheduling, including availability for weekends and holidays
