SummaryIn this role, you will serve as a trusted partner to the CEO and leadership team, helping translate strategic priorities into coordinated action across the company. You will lead high-impact initiatives, improve organizational execution, facilitate collaboration across departments, and ensure that critical company objectives continue moving forward. This role requires exceptional judgment, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to operate comfortably across engineering, operations, business development, finance, and administration.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with the CEO to drive execution of strategic priorities across the companyLead cross-functional initiatives that span multiple departments and require executive coordinationIdentify organizational obstacles and proactively drive solutions to improve execution and communicationDevelop decision materials, analyses, and recommendations to support executive and board decision-makingCoordinate strategic planning processes, company objectives, and major organizational initiativesTrack progress against company priorities and ensure accountability for key deliverablesFacilitate effective communication and coordination among senior leadersLead special projects on behalf of the CEO, including organizational improvements, facility initiatives, business process improvements, and strategic growth effortsDevelop and improve management operating systems, including executive meetings, strategic reviews, and initiative trackingBuild trusted relationships across the organization while maintaining appropriate confidentiality and discretionRequired Education and ExperienceMust have U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Security ClearanceBachelor’s degree in engineering, business, management, or a related technical disciplineDemonstrated success leading complex cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholdersExceptional organizational and project management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and structured problem-solving abilitiesAbility to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations for executive decision-makingDemonstrated ability to influence without direct authorityHigh degree of professionalism, integrity, discretion, and sound judgmentComfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting prioritiesAbility to independently identify problems, propose solutions, and drivePreferred Education and ExperienceAdvanced degree in Engineering, an MBA, or related field MBAExperience in aerospace, defense, advanced manufacturing, or other highly technical industriesExperience supporting executive leadership or senior managementExperience leading organizational change initiativesFamiliarity with government contracting and defense industry environmentsExperience with strategic planning, operational excellence, or business operationsExperience preparing executive or board-level presentations and analysisOther DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Typical office hours include Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm; however, these hours may vary based on workload and the manager’s discretion.TravelAbout 10% travel is expected for this position.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. The employee will also regularly be seated at a desk and using a computer.
