Senior Portfolio Accountant
Ambassador Resources is a boutique staffing and recruiting firm based in the NYC Metro area with deep expertise in accounting & finance, supply chain & procurement, office administration and human resources. Our core belief is that when our job is done right, employers and job seekers both benefit over the long run. Our client is a leading real estate developer located in Monmouth County, NJ. They are seeking a Senior Portfolio Accountant that will report directly into their Controller.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the monthly closing of a portfolio of properties and related entities
- Review balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
- Prepare monthly financial analytics, cash flow projections, and other ad hoc analysis
- Monthly and quarterly lender and investor reporting
- Prepare year end work papers for annual audit
- Assist with annual budget preparation
- CAM reconciliations
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Accounting
- 3+ years of related Real Estate accounting experience either in public accounting or corporate accounting
- Experience with Yardi Voyager software highly preferred
