This facility operates an organized operating room program featuring a state-of-the-art hybrid OR and advanced surgical service lines encompassing heart care, bariatric surgery, cancer care, and maternity services. The anesthesia department functions with a physician supervision model supported by a collaborative team of physicians and CRNAs. Anesthesiologist coverage is sought to address current staffing needs within the department.

Alabama offers a range of attractions suited to diverse interests, including maritime history at the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park, space exploration exhibits at the United States Space and Rocket Center, and natural landmarks such as Cheaha State Park, Talladega National Forest, and the Alabama Natural Bridge. Coastal areas provide opportunities for dolphin cruises, beach activities, and wildlife experiences, while inland destinations feature safari parks, cave exploration, and music history tours. Clinicians on assignment will find varied recreational and cultural options throughout the state's geologically and ecologically varied landscape.

The anesthesiologist will provide locum tenens coverage during day shifts at an operating room facility in Alabama, with call requirements that are negotiable. The clinician will join a stable, 9-member physician group supported by 27 CRNAs, operating under a supervision model with 0% hands-on MD involvement. The surgical program includes a state-of-the-art hybrid OR supporting advanced service lines such as heart care, bariatric surgery, cancer care, and personalized maternity care. Board certification in Anesthesiology is required for all clinicians in this role.
