Responsibilities What You ll Do Assist the Physical Therapist in evaluating patients and developing individualized treatment plans Carry out therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to improve strength, mobility, range of motion, and balance Monitor and document patient progress, and report changes to the Physical Therapist Teach patients and families exercises and home techniques that support continued progress Coordinate care with the Physical Therapist and other members of the healthcare team Keep accurate, timely patient documentation Follow facility policies, safety and infection control protocols, and state and federal regulations
