Occupational Therapist (OT)

Overview Powerback is a leader in therapeutic services for older adults, children, and other patients. We employ highly qualified occupational therapists in facility settings to help patients regain independence and improve quality of life. Responsibilities Title: Occupational Therapist Location/work environment: In facility Reporting structure: Reporting to Director of Rehab Assess patient needs and develop individualized recovery plans. Provide occupational therapy interventions to promote independence and productivity. Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and functional skills. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and make referrals as necessary. Document progress and maintain regulatory compliance. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE. Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Valid, unencumbered occupational therapy license in the state of practice.
