Medley Health - Physiatry / Pain Management Physician (MD) – Part-Time Queens, NY | Post-Acute Care Schedule: Part-Time | Flexible daytime schedule | No Nights or Weekends Compensation: $280,000 – $300,000 annually, based on experience About the Role Medley Health is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physician (MD) to join our growing post-acute care team in Queens, NY . This full-time role provides on-site physiatry and pain management services across skilled nursing and rehabilitation settings. The physician will work independently while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams to help patients regain function, improve mobility, and manage pain effectively. What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Part-time, weekday schedule with flexibility during daytime hours No nights or weekends High level of autonomy with strong administrative support Collaborative clinical environment with nursing and therapy teams Benefits & Support Paid Time Off (PTO) Malpractice insurance coverage Laptop provided Streamlined scheduling and administrative support Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in post-acute patient care Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive physiatry and rehabilitation evaluations and follow-up visits in skilled nursing and rehabilitation settings Diagnose and manage musculoskeletal, neurologic, and functional limitations common in post-acute populations Develop and manage individualized treatment plans focused on: Functional restoration and mobility goals Pain management strategies Coordination with PT, OT, and ST plans of care Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as clinically appropriate Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and in a timely manner Communicate recommendations clearly to facility clinical teams and assist with discharge planning when needed Qualifications MD required Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) strongly preferred Active New York medical license required Experience in post-acute care, rehabilitation, pain management, musculoskeletal care, or related settings preferred Strong clinical judgment, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills Ability to work independently and manage a full-time schedule across assigned sites Why Join Medley Health?
