Machine Operator - 1st Shift Tamarack Packaging | Meadville, PA
Tamarack Packaging is looking for a dependable and motivated Machine Operator to join our production team. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred, but we will train the right candidate.
Shift- Monday-Friday
- 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
- Two paid 10-minute breaks
- One 30-minute unpaid lunch
- Overtime opportunities available
- Operate and monitor production machinery safely and efficiently
- Perform machine setups, changeovers, and adjustments
- Conduct quality inspections and verify product specifications
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic preventative maintenance
- Record production, scrap, downtime, and quality data
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all safety, quality, and environmental requirements
- Work with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to meet production goals
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely
- Ability to stand and perform physical work throughout the shift
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
