POSITION SUMMARY Ensuring cleanliness of the bar area including bar supply storage areas, preparing vacated bar space for new guests, maintaining a well‑stocked bar area to expedite guest service and assisting bartenders as needed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Removes all dishes and other items from bar following the meal Cleans and prepares bar area for new guests in accordance to the Joint’s standards Performs opening, closing and ongoing cleaning side work as assigned Assists bartending staff by answering guest questions, pre‑bussing, refilling N/A beverages etc. to ensure quality guest experience Changing out empty kegs and maintenance of beer and returnable storage Supports bartending and waitstaff in other duties as required Stocking and preparing bar supplies Performs other work‑related duties as assigned Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy items (dishes, tubs, etc.) High energy and stamina are required Ability to stay calm and work efficiently under pressure Ability to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required Excellent customer service to treat patrons like family Ability to read menus, safety documents, and other work‑related documents PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
