Job Description
Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience required License: Valid Michigan license required Certifications: Preferred certifications include ACLS, BCLS, NRP, PALS Must-Have: Flu vaccine required; medical and religious exemptions allowed (must submit within 48 hours of signing) Description:
Locals under 50 miles allowed at a different rate.
Must be available for the first two weeks of the assignment.
Patient ratios for days are 5.
Weekend work requires every other weekend.
There is no on-call requirement.
Floating is not required.
Unit specialties include all respiratory therapies.
Patients include neonates, adults, and geriatrics.
Daily census is approximately 100 patients.
Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services and rapid response teams.
Special equipment used in the unit includes Aerogen, V60, PB 980, and Hamilton T1.
Background checks are mandatory before submission.
References are required.
Proof of flu vaccination is required with submission or exemption must be submitted within 48 hours.
