Sales Representative, End User

Location: Applicants must live in Eastern Washington (Spokane, WA area) What you will be doing: In this role, you will be responsible for calling on Facility Managers, Security Directors, IT Directors, and Construction and Planning Departments within an end user account. Additionally, you will partner with local selling partners including wholesalers, integrators, locksmiths, and distributors to maximize positive impact with end user accounts. You need a sales professional capable of relationship and technical solution selling within the commercial construction, multi‑family, and property management market segments to gain approval for the product lines represented by Door Security Solutions. Key areas you will contribute to the role include: Communicate effectively with decision makers and influencers including locksmiths, facility managers, IT networking managers, and executives. Develop short and long‑term sales plans. Identify and classify the sales potential of each client. Establish a trusted network of clients, building relationships quickly and easily. Sell opening solutions as a consultant using a communication approach effective with a diverse audience. Apply discovery abilities including prospecting, profiling, qualifying, identifying client needs, and presenting solutions. Self‑motivated, organized, and takes pride in accuracy. Multi‑tasker with proficiency in time and project management. Strong communicator, active listener, and negotiator. Can work independently while valuing teamwork. Able to read and understand specifications/facility standards, with industry‑related technical and sales aptitude. Ability to travel up to 75% locally to meet customer requirements. Capable of performing responsibilities from a home office or while traveling. Can lift/carry up to 50 lbs. of samples and display material for presentations. Education and/or experience: College/University degree (preferred for architectural design/engineering, construction science/management, or similar) or minimum high school/GED diploma with commensurate work experience. Minimum 2–3 years of sales experience, building material or construction‑related preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools. Experience using CRM tools for sales and activity reporting. Working knowledge of industry‑related software is a plus.
