Job Summary
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) RN position located in a specialized progressive care setting within a healthcare organization. This contract role involves providing critical patient care in a busy unit, with a focus on emergent procedures and patient monitoring. The shift is scheduled for nights, with a commitment of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/05/2026 and ending on 01/04/2027.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications, and NIHHS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification; valid RN license; 0 years of experience required; candidates must be willing to work night shift and weekends
• Preferred Qualifications: Certification in CATN (Critical Acute Treatment Nurse) or TCAR (Trauma Certified Registered Nurse) or TCCN (Trauma Certified Critical Nurse); experience performing emergent chest tube placement, midline or PICC insertions, and bedside bronchoscopy procedures
• Additional Information: Unit utilizes bedside monitors, glucometers, dopplers, standing scales, wheelchairs, and hoyer lifts; unit policy adherence and teamwork-oriented personalities are valued; dress code requires navy blue scrubs
