Job Summary
The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) registered nurse position is located at an acute care facility. This role involves providing specialized care to cardiac and neurological patients, with responsibilities including ventilator management and interpretation of cardiac rhythms, within a 24/7 ICU environment. The position requires adaptability to rotating shifts and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Job Details

• Position Description:
  Provides specialized ICU nursing care for cardiac and neurology patients, including ventilator management and titration of drips, in a hospital setting.
• Required Qualifications:
  Active certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) (American Heart Association), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); minimum one year of ICU experience; valid nursing license; location requirements: the healthcare professional must be licensed and available to work in the specified area; scheduled shifts include 12-hour rotating shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  Prior ICU experience is highly preferred.
• Schedule:
  Rotating shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled.
• Additional Information:
  The ICU is equipped with ventilators, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, and other respiratory therapy equipment. Critical care nurses interpret cardiac rhythms using Nihon - Kohden monitors and respond to patient needs in a 24/7 hospitalist and intensivist setting. No float position required, and dress code is flexible.
