About the Role

The Company is in search of an Interim Director to lead its preschool with a focus on nurturing, clear communication, and a strong commitment to the community. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the school's culture, fostering relationships with staff, families, and church leadership, and ensuring the implementation of a high-quality, developmentally appropriate curriculum. This role involves providing strong leadership to the administrative team, overseeing daily operations, and being a visible and engaged leader within the school. The Interim Director will also be involved in staff recruitment, supervision, and professional development, as well as managing family engagement and enrollment efforts. Applicants for the Interim Director position at the company's preschool must have a Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, child development, or a related field, with a preference for a Master's degree. Significant experience in early childhood education and staff leadership is required, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills. The role demands the ability to evaluate classroom environments, staff performance, and program effectiveness, as well as a current infant/child CPR and first aid certification. A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and a satisfactory criminal background check are also necessary. Experience with SACS standards or SACS/NAEYC accreditation and leadership within a church-affiliated preschool or educational ministry are preferred qualifications.
