Job Description Job Description Location : Waco, TX (Onsite) Salary: $70,000-$80,000/annually Overview We are seeking a hands-on, solutions-oriented Manufacturing IT Systems Lead to support and enhance technology across our production and business environments. This role is ideal for an IT professional who thrives in fast-paced settings, enjoys solving complex problems, and is passionate about continuous improvement. The Manufacturing IT Systems Lead will serve as a key partner to operations, quality, and business teams—ensuring reliable system performance while identifying opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and overall efficiency. This position blends day-to-day IT support with systems administration, project coordination, and process optimization. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical documentation, and user guide Support ERP systems (SAP or similar), including user support, troubleshooting, and process alignment with business operations Provide end-to-end IT support across office and production environments, ensuring minimal disruption to business and manufacturing operations Act as a primary point of contact for IT-related issues, prioritizing and resolving tickets with a strong sense of urgency—especially those impacting production Partner with production, quality, and operations teams to troubleshoot system issues and implement practical, scalable solutions Analyze support trends, system performance, and recurring issues to identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement Manage user accounts, access controls, and system security in accordance with company policies Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes, including system setup, access provisioning, and equipment deployment Track and manage IT assets, including hardware, software, and licensing across plant and office environments Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to support system upgrades, implementations, and issue resolution Utilize tools such as Excel and reporting platforms to generate insights, track performance, and support decision-making Escalate complex issues as needed while maintaining ownership through resolution Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience) 3–6 years of IT support, systems administration, or similar experience Experience supporting users in fast-paced environments (manufacturing, distribution, or logistics preferred) Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and basic networking Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and endpoint support Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) Experience with ticketing systems and IT service workflows Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, data analysis, reporting) preferred Proven ability to analyze problems, identify trends, and implement process improvements Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams Bilingual (English required; Spanish preferred) Company Description Connecting Companies with Good Employees, and Employees with Good Companies!!
