# WelderCOOLIDGE, GA 31738## Description**Welder Job Description****Qualifications Required**Must pass an uphill MIG bend test**Job Duties*** Set up, use and maintain Lincoln and Miller welders* Maintain PPE’s* Interpret project blueprints* Read and take measurements* MIG weld all roots, fills and caps on 516 70 steel boilers to comply with welding standards* Use cranes to move boilers and parts throughout shop* Repair minor weld defects with angle and pencil grinders* Repair leaking weld defects with stick welding method* Maintain a clean work environment* Comply with OSHA standards* Follow orders of Foreman and Shop Supervisor**Skills Required*** Ability to operate hand held machinery* Attention to detail* Timeliness and punctuality* General understanding of welding procedures**Physical Requirements*** Ability to use hand held power tools and welders for extended periods of time* Ability to lift objects over 40 pounds* Ability to work in tight spaces* Ability to work in maintained high temperatures #J-18808-Ljbffr
