Custodial Crew MemberSalary Range $11.75 Hourly Position Type Part-Time Job Shift Various Shifts Education Level High School Diploma/GEDDescriptionResponsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the areas assigned and provides some work direction to custodial staff. The incumbent is accountable for the completions of assigned duties with a minimum level of supervision. The incumbent interacts positively with various customer/client point of contacts, EU staff and responds to requests personally and effectively. The incumbent must work to ensure exceptional EU custodial services are maintained at all customer facilities.Qualifications• Demonstrate safe work habits and observe all applicable worker safety practices, including the use of required personal protective equipment.• Perform janitorial duties as necessary to meet customer/contract requirements. • Operate motorized equipment used for cleaning.• Perform other duties as assigned by the Custodial Manager and Supervisors that pertain to the job duties.• Maintain a variety of records as required, such as inventory, checklists and cleaning inspections Demonstrate Exceptional customer service, in Everything you do, by placing the child, family, Veteran or client first to support our mission to "Empower people to build better lives for themselves, their families, and their communities."ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.EXPERIENCE: 4 months to a 1 year of experience as a custodianATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer's sole discretion. LICENSES: Driver's License with clear record. VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice.OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates. ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES: COMMUNICATION: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively via oral or written means. Ability to present a friendly and positive demeanor to parents, school personnel, licensing, staff and the general public. Ability to make oral presentations.COMPOSURE: Ability to remain calm and maintain self-control in the midst of difficult circumstances and emergencies. Ability to respond in a professional manner in all situations.DECISION MAKING: Ability to set work priorities and to evaluate and create solutions to work related problems. Ability to think analytically and evaluate the impact of decisions.ORGANIZATION: Ability to plan ahead several months to a year. Ability to keep various on-going projects organized and files maintained accurately. Above normal levels of concentration and memory required. Requires good time management practices and the ability to meet multiple deadlines.
