Registered Nurse - Dialysis

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized dialysis nursing care in acute care settings, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and adherence to clinical protocols. Flexibility to float between hospitals within the market and work varied shifts, including weekends, is required.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality dialysis treatment to patients according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status throughout procedures, promptly addressing any adverse reactions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth treatment flow.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in electronic health records.
• Respond to call requests and adjust to varying shift schedules to meet patient needs.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and infection control protocols at all times.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 2 years of dialysis experience in acute care settings.
• Possess experience working in Navy or Caribbean healthcare environments (preferred).
• Be willing to float to multiple hospital locations within the market as needed.
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills in dialysis procedures and patient monitoring.
• Possess excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Be willing to work 4 days a week, with shift times that may vary, including weekends.
