Admissions Registered Nurse (RN) - PRN

Job Title

Central Florida Behavioral Hospital is seeking a professional to perform all aspects of the intake and admission process.

Job Duties:

• Request clinical information on potential patients
• Initiate verification of insurance coverage
• Coordinate admissions with unit staff and Physician
• Follow EMTALA regulations

Qualifications:

• Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Investigation
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required
• Minimum one (1) year experience as a Registered Nurse required
• Six (6) months experience in psychiatric nursing preferred
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Florida required
• Current CPR Certification required (Can be obtained upon hire)
• Knowledge of current nursing procedures
