Come join the QCC team and be part of our vision for the future!Nursing Responsibilities:Assess, plan, and deliver comprehensive healthcare to patients by providing the following:Administer medicationsPerform medical intakes and assess if patient is fit for incarceration, as neededRespond to sick call requests and follow up with the medical provider when neededCheck and/or change medical dressings as required by the medical providerPerforming 14-day physicalsManaging chronic careProviding patient education on health concernsResponding to medical emergenciesBe capable of performing life saving measures and ability to take charge and give direction in an emergencyMaintain working knowledge of pharmacology, including but not limited to drug reaction/overdose, formulary/non-formulary medications, and knowledge of medication costsBe able to provide insight and direction to Medically Trained Personnel, as needed.Comply with all current and future state, federal, and local laws and regulationsLocation: Cass County Jail, Logansport, INShift Opening(s): 7AM to 7PM, 3 days per week with every other weekend rotation Pay Range: $30-36/hour based on experienceRequirements:Valid LPN licensureValid CPR certificationMust be able to stand for extended periods of timeMust be able to push, pull, reach, and bend frequentlyMust be capable of lifting up to 50 poundsQCC's Benefits:Competitive compensation packagesPaid time offMedical insurance (PPO or HSA)$1,200 annual company HSA contributionDentalVisionShort term disabilityVoluntary life, accident, and critical illnessPet InsuranceCancer CoverageReferral ProgramEmployee Assistance ProgramFinancial Wellness ProgramEmployer paid long term disability, AD&D, and a $50,000 life insurance policy401K with a 4% company match
