Marine Fabrication Shop Operations Assistant A day in this role
You start your morning with a quick walk-through of our specialty aluminum boat facility—checking shared spaces, tidying work areas, and lending a hand wherever it keeps the shop humming. As work ramps up, you jump in to support shipping and receiving: staging boats and parts, assisting with crating, and keeping documentation organized. You confidently operate a forklift to move materials and completed boats, and you’re ready to drive company vehicles as needed. In the afternoon, you round out the day with general shopkeeping and janitorial duties to make sure the team begins tomorrow in a clean, safe, and efficient environment.
It’s a solid role with a solid company, and it opens doors to learn more about marine manufacturing and pursue other avenues within the shop’s structure.
What you’ll handle
Assist with facility maintenance across the aluminum boat manufacturing shop
General shopkeeping and janitorial responsibilities to maintain a clean, organized workspace
Support shipping and receiving of boats and parts
Operate a forklift to move materials, boats, and crated shipments
Operate company vehicles for on-site and related shop needs
Schedule
Full-time, Monday–Thursday
