CT/X-ray Technologist

Scope Radiologic Technologist focusing on CT and X‑Ray at Elizabethtown Community Hospital in upstate New York. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures in a variety of settings and modalities on patients as ordered by physicians. Function as a CT/X‑ray Tech, ensuring ethical and professional care according to hospital and NY State guidelines. Deliver efficient, quality care quickly in stressful situations. Education & Skills Required Licensed by the NYS Department of Health and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with current status. CT Certification required; candidates without certification may be hired into a Radiologic TechnologistI position and advance to LevelII after obtaining certification. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff. Sensitivity and interpersonal skills for apprehensive patients and families. Experience Required Minimum 1 year of CT experience. Non‑experienced candidates may be hired into a Radiologic TechnologistI position and must obtain CT certification promptly. Compensation & Benefits Hourly pay up to $44.81. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans, life insurance, paid vacations and holidays, tuition reimbursement, and tuition assistance. Relocation & Signing Bonus Sign‑on bonus ranging from $3,000 to $7,500 for external candidates, pro‑rated for part‑time hours and paid in installments. Relocation assistance available for candidates moving more than 120miles, up to $3,000. Additional Information Work schedule: four 12‑hour shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday), every other week, 7:00AM – 7:30PM, including weekend coverage.
