School Nurse Substitute

Starting Date: Immediately Job Description This is a substitute (per-diem) nurse position to cover school health offices and field trips based on the needs of the Canton Public Schools District. Requirements : -Current & valid MA RN or LPN nursing license -Ability to respond professionally to medical emergencies -Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment -Strong triage and nursing assessment skills necessary -Fingerprinting and CORI check required Responsibilities include : - Providing care for sick and injured students andstaff pre-K through grade 12 - Administering prescribed medications and treatments as ordered -Accurately document into electronic health record system (SNAP experience preferred) - Collaborating with parents and school staff regarding student health issues as they arise.
