Healthcare Finance & Business Operations Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking a Healthcare Finance & Business Operations Manager to oversee financial processes, business operations, and regulatory compliance within a mission-driven nonprofit healthcare organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and healthcare reimbursement, with extensive knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid .
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily financial operations, including AP/AR, budgeting, reconciliations, invoicing, and financial reporting.
- Manage Medicare and Medicaid billing, reimbursement processes, and related financial compliance requirements.
- Monitor financial performance, identify discrepancies, and implement process improvements.
- Support month-end accounting activities, financial documentation, and audit preparation.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, nonprofit financial policies, and government funding requirements.
- Oversee business office operations, vendor relationships, and non-clinical administrative functions.
- Partner with leadership on budgeting, financial planning, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in healthcare finance, accounting, or business operations.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations, billing, and reimbursement processes required.
- Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and general accounting functions.
- Background in nonprofit healthcare, managed care, senior services, or long-term care preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel, accounting software, and financial systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred Experience
- PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) experience.
- Healthcare revenue cycle management and reimbursement.
- Nonprofit financial operations and regulatory compliance.
