Manufacturing Technician

Cellphire Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing next-generation platelet-derived therapeutics to address critical bleeding, transfusion, and emergency preparedness needs. The company is leveraging its proprietary platelet stabilization and cryopreservation technologies to develop scalable, shelf-stable products designed to improve readiness, extend platelet availability, and reduce reliance on fragile blood supply chains. Cellphire’s lead product candidate, CLPH-511, is a cryopreserved activated platelet therapy derived from human platelets and designed for rapid availability in surgical, trauma, and austere care settings. The Manufacturing Technician position’s primary responsibility is supporting GMP manufacturing and production activities for CLPH-511 and CLPH-211, while also contributing to broader CMC operations including cleanroom operations, SOP development and improvement, equipment monitoring and maintenance, inventory support, and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements. RESPONSIBILITES/DUTIES: Assist in the GMP manufacture of Freeze‑Dried Platelet‑Derived Hemostatic agent (FPH), cryopreserved platelets, Placebo Controls, non‑clinical products, and other Cellphire products. Under the direction of process engineers/manufacturing management, support manufacturing process development of FPH and other Cellphire products. Work within controlled/classified spaces (ISO standard) to include (but not limited to) ISO5 rooms, ISO7 rooms, hoods, etc. This includes maintaining sterile gowning certification and cGMP/cGLP training. Perform quality control (QC) testing of raw materials, finished Cellphire products, and research & development materials. Execute, record and maintain batch records and production report results in a timely manner. As needed, supporting facility and environmental monitoring activities. Develop and/or review Cellphire Standard Operating Procedures. Work within cross‑functional teams. Ensure process and project documentation is accurate and updated. Maintain safe working environment. Follow Cellphire policies and procedures. Train and demonstrate tasks as required. Other duties as needed or assigned. Demonstrating Cellphire’s values and professional ethics in the pharmaceutical field.
