Job TitleElectronics EngineerJob DescriptionAs an Electronics Engineer, you will perform the following duties:Participate in domestic and international radio frequency (RF) management and coordination meetings to effectively communicate, represent, and negotiate the needs of the agency. Provide program leaders with guidance and assistance with activities relating to radio frequency allocation, assignments, and authorization actions necessary to secure radio spectrum for their programsSupport implementation and operation of systems and services using RF spectrum resources through conduct of propagation and interference analysis. Develop electromagnetic interference mitigation measurement plans and techniques. Provide RF spectrum management support for satellite and terrestrial broadcasting services, radio telemetry acquisition, and remote sensing radar and satellite technology.Provide leadership and expert advice to other segments of the agency. Apply extensive knowledge of electronics engineering, as well as expert knowledge in the subject matter area to provide advice and guidance in resolving technical and policy problems, developing new techniques and approaches, and settling controversy. Review, evaluate and advise on the effectiveness, technical adequacy and suitability of the work and proposals of other engineers in resolving complicated and critical problems in their specialized area.Participate in domestic and international working groups, conferences and study groups to author, present, review or approve technical position papers dealing with the allocation of radio-frequency (RF) assignments.Throughout the recruitment and hiring process we will be communicating with you via email; therefore, it is imperative that the email address you provide when applying for this vacancy remains active.
