MISSION OF THE POSITION

The Sales Support Coordinator provides general administrative support to the Vice President of Sales and the sales team. This role helps keep sales activities, information, and processes organized and moving across multiple branches. The position supports opportunity management, project intake, reporting, communication, and event coordination to help the sales team operate efficiently and effectively.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Sales Systems and Administrative Support

• Maintain and update opportunity data in Acumatica, and manage Spec Recon and ConstructConnect by reviewing, categorizing, and assigning projects.
• Ensure projects and opportunities are organized, accurate, and assigned to the appropriate salesperson or team, and track and follow up on incomplete or outdated information.
• Coordinate communication across multiple branch sales teams.
• Provide general administrative support to the VP of Sales and sales team, including maintaining files, documents, and templates.
• Track tasks, deadlines, and special projects to keep sales processes organized and consistent across branches.
• Prepare sales reports, dashboards, and spreadsheets using Excel and Power BI, and generate ad hoc reports as requested by the VP of Sales.
• Compile and organize information for meetings and business reviews to provide consistent, accurate data that supports decision-making.

Event & Training Coordination

• Coordinate customer events and training sessions, including scheduling, invitations, attendee lists, and room, meal, and material setup.
• Support the sales team with event and training preparation and follow-up to ensure everything runs smoothly.

EDUCATION

• High School Diploma

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams)
• Comfortable working with reports, spreadsheets, and basic data
• Ability to learn and work with systems such as Acumatica, Spec Recon, ConstructConnect, and Power BI
• Strong communication and follow-through
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional, dependable, and proactive
• Previous experience in sales support, administration, or office coordination preferred
