TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Beaufort, South Carolina, 29902!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of medical-surgical experience required License: Valid state license required Certifications: Basic Life Support Must-Have: - 2 years of medical-surgical experience - Stepdown/PCU experience - First-time travelers accepted - No license or background hits Description: Four day shift travelers needed. Travelers must have stepdown/PCU experience as medical-surgical nurses will float to their PCU unit as needed. Facility requires a valid state nursing license prior to submission. Unit profile includes a 29-bed general surgical and orthopedic unit with medical overflow. Contract length is for 13 weeks with possible extensions. Weekdays, every other weekend, floating, and holidays may be required. Certifications required include Basic Life Support. Skills needed include IV start experience and the management of various medical devices and procedures. Floating is required within the facility, and candidates must be comfortable with this. Patient diagnoses include primarily surgical and orthopedic cases with some medical overflow. Patient ratios are typically 6:1. Experience with the EMR system is preferred but not mandatory for all positions. Expect to work some holidays and weekends in rotation with staff.
