Family Law Paralegal

Duffee + Eitzen, an established family law firm in Dallas, TX, is looking for an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has at least five years of recent experience as a paralegal in family law, and this role will primarily be on-site, supporting two very litigation-heavy partners. This role’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Draft and E-file legal documents, including orders, motions, notices, declarations, and petitions. Calendar deadlines, hearings, and trials Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, legal vendors, and experts. Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials, and attend same, as necessary. Prepare and maintain client files, keeping files up to date as the matter moves forward. General administrative duties relevant to client matters. Qualifications: At least 3 years’ experience as a paralegal in family law. [Required] Strong knowledge of family law procedures and terminology.
