Human Resources College InternshipThe Charter Township of Shelby Human Resource Department is accepting internship applications from College Level Applicants for the fall semester. This is an opportunity to gain exposure in benefits, recruiting, and labor negotiations. Interested candidates must be available to work 20 hours a week, Monday to Friday, August – November.CompensationHourly Rate: $16.01 - $17.24 an hour. This position is not eligible for benefits.Essential Job FunctionsAn internship with Shelby Township will provide an opportunity to learn the basic workings and etiquette of an office environment and tasks that are specialized to Human Resources.Duties include, but are not limited to –Employee Wellness initiatives in preparation for Wellness FairCoordinate employee vaccination ClinicSupport benefit open enrollmentCoordinate with Township Departments to obtain employee HRIS data and photosAudit legal postings and safety training schedulesMinimum Requirements & QualificationsMust be currently enrolled in Human Resource, Business or related field from an accredited college or universityStrong communication and writing skillsProficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications are desirable. #J-18808-Ljbffr
