Employment Type: Full time Shift: Evening Shift Description: Unit Coordinator Department: Atrium East – Med/Surg - Our Atrium East unit at our Chelsea hospital cares for Medical-Surgical patients. Patient diagnoses can vary from medical such as: COPD, Sepsis, withdrawal, GI bleeds, CHF or Surgical: bariatric, Mastectomy, colorectal surgeries, hernias. This unit has 24 beds and specializes in complex high acuity medical and surgical patients with length of stay from 3-5 days. Location: Chelsea, MI hospital Why Join Us? The Unit Coordinator/Secretary is responsible for a variety of activities involving clerical support, obtaining requested medical records by the medical team, and providing support to patients and staff in the unit Shift Available: Evenings – 3pm-11:30pm Status Available: Full time, benefit eligible (72 hours per pay period – every two weeks) Weekend and holiday rotation required Required Qualifications Minimum of high school education Recent unit secretary experience preferred Medical terminology preferred Visit to learn more about the benefits, culture and career development opportunities available to you at Trinity Health Michigan.
