Join us in making a real difference in the health of our community. Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mammography Technologist to join our team. As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures. Responsibilities Perform mammography scans using specialized equipment Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures Position patients correctly for optimal imaging results Operate X-ray and other medical imaging equipment Collaborate with radiologists to provide diagnostic evaluation of mammograms Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines Provide patient education regarding the mammography process Qualifications - Valid certification as a Mammography Technologist

  • Proficient in performing mammography scans and interpreting results
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to mammography
  • Familiarity with other imaging modalities such as CT, PET scan, and X-ray
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including emergency room settings
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in image capture and documentation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals
