Commercial Property Assistant

Location: South End, Charlotte, NC

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Fully In-Office

About the Role

Our client is a privately held commercial real estate company in the Charlotte area that develops, owns, and manages a diverse portfolio of commercial properties

They are looking for a Commercial Property Assistant to provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Property Management team. This is a great opportunity for someone with residential property management experience who is ready to take the next step into commercial real estate.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative and operational support to Property Managers
Assist with day-to-day management of commercial properties
Communicate with tenants, vendors, and internal teams
Assist with tenant requests, property documentation, and follow-up
Support lease administration and maintain accurate property records
Coordinate and track vendor activities and property-related needs
Assist with invoices, documentation, reporting, and other back-office functions
Maintain organized records and ensure information is entered accurately into property management systems
Support the Property Management team with various projects and administrative needs

Qualifications

Previous experience in property management, leasing, property administration, or a related field
Residential property management experience is strongly considered
Strong customer service and communication skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on tasks
Comfortable working in a fully in-office environment
Experience with Yardi or MRI is highly preferred
Bachelor’s degree is not required
