Step Inside a Day in the Life of a DVM at Frontier

As an Urgent Care Veterinarian, you'll have the opportunity to practice high-quality medicine while caring for a diverse caseload. You'll evaluate patients, perform diagnostics, develop treatment plans, and provide medical and surgical care alongside a skilled and collaborative veterinary team. You'll have the opportunity to perform a variety of surgical procedures, including abdominal exploratories (gastrotomy and enterotomy), ovariohysterectomies, cystotomies, splenectomies, gastropexies, and enucleations. Through compassionate communication and client education, you'll help ensure every patient and client receives an exceptional experience from arrival through discharge.

Enjoy working with a fun-loving team in a modern 6,000-square-foot hospital connected to a 9,000-square-foot specialty surgical and rehabilitation hospital. Our modern facility is built to support efficient workflow, advanced medicine, and a great team experience.

• IDEXX in-house laboratory equipment

• Education & Credentials
  • Graduate of an Accredited Veterinary School (Required)
  • DVM License in Wisconsin (Required)
• Experience
  • 1+ year of DVM experience (Preferred)
  • Comfortable performing surgeries (Preferred)
• Schedule and Commute

Frontier is open 7 days a week from 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM (No overnight shifts)!

• Full or part-time positions available
• 10-12-hour shifts
• Rotating weekends required
• Ability to work holidays
• Ability to reliably commute to our Greenfield location or relocate prior to starting
