Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.**What You'll Be Doing*** Operate haul trucks and other heavy mobile equipment to transport raw materials within the quarry.* Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on equipment.* Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure safe and efficient operations.* Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations.* Assist with general labor and clean-up duties as needed.**What Are We Looking For*** Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment in a quarry or similar environment.* Strong awareness of safety practices and hazard recognition.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.* Willingness to learn and adapt to changing operational needs.* Reliable attendance and punctuality.**Conditions of Employment*** Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.**Work Environment*** Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.**Physical Demands of the Job*** Ability to sit for extended periods while operating equipment.* Frequent walking, standing, bending, and climbing on and off equipment.* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.* Manual dexterity and visual acuity required to operate controls and monitor equipment.* Tolerance for working in dusty, noisy, and outdoor environments for long durations.**What We Offer*** Starting Pay $23.00 per hour DOE* 401(k) retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributions* Highly competitive benefits programs, including: + Medical, Dental, and Vision along with Prescription Drug Benefits + Health Saving Savings Account (HSA), Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) + AD&D, Short- and Long-Term Disability Coverage as well as Basic Life Insurance + Paid Bonding Leave, 10 days of Paid Vacation, 40 hours of Paid Sick Leave and 10 Paid HolidaysEqual Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled
