Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our hospital facility, where you will work a standard schedule of 40 hours a week, typically Monday through Friday, concluding your day at 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Perform detailed physical examinations and order relevant diagnostic tests to aid in developing effective pain management strategies.
• Administer injections, including trigger point and joint injections, to provide relief for patients experiencing various types of pain.
• Prescribe medications and create tailored pain management recommendations, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and best practices.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, documenting treatment responses and modifying care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on pain management techniques, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications that promote better health.
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, discussing patient care strategies and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
• Uphold accurate patient documentation and maintain organized schedules to enhance operational efficiency.
• Conduct ongoing research and professional development to advance personal knowledge and contribute to clinical discussions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physician Assistant at Horizon Health PA Clinic, you will primarily serve patients dealing with acute and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time Physician Assistant position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 140,000 to 160,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to a generous compensation package, we provide a comprehensive benefits plan which includes health insurance, paid time off, and a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000.
