Our space is as striking as our menu: modern, moody, and designed to impress. We’re currently hiring a part-time Expeditor/Server Assistant to join our team. Ideal candidates are polished, personable, and comfortable in a fast-paced fine-dining environment. Expeditor:
Maintain communication between the FOH and BOH, consistency in food, and restaurant appearance. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Make guests feel comfortable and well taken care of.
• Answer the phone professionally and according to restaurant standards when needed.
• Know restaurant standards, table numbers, wait sections, menu, specials, and be able to answer any question customers may have effectively.
• Learn the names and personally recognize our regulars.
• Monitor ticket times and maintain food consistency throughout the shift and on a day to-day basis.
• Communicate all requests and issues effectively between the FOH and BOH.
  
• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen and bar to guests in a timely manner.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and assist fellow employees as situations arise.
• Assist in pre-bussing, crumbing, and bussing tables where needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant including restrooms, counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas.
• Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues to restaurant manager.
• Assist in the restocking and replenishment of to-go supplies.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.

Server Assistant:

Provide guests with beverage refills as needed. Remove used tableware between courses; clear and reset tables after guests leave. Generally assist wait persons at every level with customer service.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Know restaurant standards, table numbers, wait sections, menu specials and be able to answer any questions customers may have effectively. 
• Remove used tableware between courses and provide tableware for next course. 
• Clear tables after guests. Take tableware to dish room and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in appropriate areas for washing. 
• Between seating, promptly clean table tops, chairs and booths. Check floor and clean as required. Reset and arrange tabletop. 
• Respond appropriately to guest requests. Communicate guest requests to server as needed. 
• Communicate with server and hostess to assure efficient seating, table utilization and customer service. 
• Assist server as needed with food delivery, especially with large parties and during peak periods. 
• Thank guests as they are leaving. 
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests.
• Must have previous BOH experience.
• Possess a basic knowledge of dining room service procedures and functions.
• Possess a basic knowledge of kitchen and health code procedures.
• Must have excellent communication skills and ability to work in high pressure situations.
• Be able to lift and safely deliver at least 3 dishes at a time.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 6 hours).
