Respiratory Care Practitioner - Respiratory Therapy - Full Time 12 Hour Night Shift (Union) Glendale, Los Angeles, CA Position Overview Under direct supervision of the Clinical Manager and as directed by physician, provide excellent patient care through the assessment of patients’ cardio‑pulmonary status, by setting up and operating various types of respiratory care equipment to diagnose and treat respiratory disease or illness, and by collaborating with interdisciplinary team members. Minimum Education Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy; bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy preferred. Minimum Experience 1‑2 years of experience working as a Respiratory Therapist in an Acute Care Hospital setting preferred. Required Licensure/Certification Valid California Respiratory Care Practitioner License. RRT and CRT licensure required for employees hired 11/01/19 or later. Additional Certifications NRP, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required from the American Heart Association. Other Requirements Annual AB 508 Certification. If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer into the department and maintained by renewal before expiration date.
