Rehab Specialist - Morton

Description

A Rehab Specialist, or RS, will act as a liaison, provide information and resolve any emerging problems that our patients might face with accuracy and efficiency. The best rehab specialists are genuinely excited to help customers. They’re patient, empathetic, and passionately communicative. They are instinctual communicators and love helping patients find the pieces of equipment that will make their life easier in the home setting. Rehab specialists can put themselves in their patients’ shoes and advocate for them when necessary. Customer feedback is priceless, and these specialists can gather that for you. Problem-solving comes naturally to rehab specialists. They are confident at troubleshooting and investigate if they don’t have enough information to resolve customer complaints. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction. A rehab specialist is also responsible for checking insurance, verifying patient information, and keying orders into our computer system.

Responsibilities:

• Speak to patients about doctor's visits, PT/OT visits, and other information
• Generate sales leads
• Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
• Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication
• Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools
• Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
• Make detailed notes regarding all patient and customer interactions
• Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Requirements

Must currently live in, or plan to move to (at your own expense) a reasonable commuting distance to Morton, MS. Outstanding communication and presentation skills. Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills. Must love helping people of all ages. High level of attention to detail. Able to manage multiple priorities and close the loop when interrupted. Must be able to pass background requirements and drug screenings. Must have valid driver’s license with proof of clean driving record.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Occasionally lift/move up to 20 lbs. Ability to stoop, bend over, kneel, sit, or stand for extended periods of times as needed to meet customer’s needs. Regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear. The employee is required to sit and stand. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
