Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care in the Emergency Room setting, ensuring prompt and effective treatment for patients experiencing urgent health issues. Supervises and collaborates with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive, high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions rapidly to identify immediate care needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in emergency situations.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, treatments, and health management.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in the practicing state.
• At least one year of experience in emergency or acute care settings preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification strongly preferred.
• Ability to perform under pressure and make quick, informed decisions.
• Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
