EXPERIENCED AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN – MASSILLON, OH

UP TO $10,000 SIGN-ON BONUS

Qualified experienced Automotive Service Technicians may be eligible for an up to $10,000 sign-on bonus.

WE'LL HELP MOVE YOUR TOOLS

Moving your toolbox shouldn't be the reason you stay at a shop where you're no longer happy.

Tool-moving assistance is available for qualifying technicians joining Diehl Honda of Massillon.

If you're currently working at another Honda dealership, new-car dealership, independent automotive repair shop, tire and service center, or automotive repair facility, we'll work with qualifying candidates to help make the transition as easy as possible.

AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Experienced Automotive Service Technician at Diehl Honda of Massillon, you will:

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, drivability, and vehicle performance concerns
• Perform engine diagnostics and repairs
• Diagnose and repair transmission and drivetrain concerns
• Perform steering and suspension diagnosis and repairs
• Diagnose and repair automotive brake systems
• Perform HVAC and climate-control diagnosis and repairs
• Diagnose automotive electrical and electronic systems
• Complete scheduled maintenance and manufacturer-recommended services
• Perform comprehensive multi-point vehicle inspections
• Identify necessary maintenance and repair needs
• Use modern automotive diagnostic equipment and scan tools
• Utilize Honda manufacturer diagnostic and repair resources
• Complete warranty, customer-pay, and internal repair work
• Accurately document vehicle diagnoses, repairs, and recommendations
• Communicate effectively with Automotive Service Advisors
• Follow Honda manufacturer and dealership repair procedures
• Maintain Honda and dealership quality standards
• Complete automotive repairs correctly, safely, and efficiently

AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS

We're looking for experienced automotive professionals with:

• Previous professional Automotive Technician or Auto Mechanic experience
• Dealership Automotive Service Technician experience preferred
• Honda or Acura repair experience is a plus
• Strong automotive diagnostic and mechanical abilities
• Experience diagnosing automotive electrical systems
• Ability to independently diagnose and complete repairs
• ASE certifications preferred
• Honda manufacturer certifications preferred
• Honda factory training is a plus
• Strong productivity and time-management skills
• Ability to succeed in a flat-rate or production-focused service environment
• Commitment to fixing vehicles correctly the first time
• Strong attention to quality and safety
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Dependable attendance
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic

Honda experience is preferred, but experienced technicians from other automotive manufacturers, dealerships, and independent repair facilities are encouraged to apply.
