If you’re a consultative B2B seller from the facilities or business services world —like o ffice furniture, copier leasing, or corporate coffee — you’ll feel right at home.

Your pipeline is a balance of qualified inbound leads assigned to you and new relationships you develop yourself. Along the way, you’ll build a client network of top-tier corporate decision-makers that few sales professionals ever reach.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop new business. Follow up on assigned inbound leads and prospect new corporate, healthcare, and professional-services accounts.
• Consult on site. Meet with facility managers, office managers, and executives. Walk the space, take measurements, and understand their goals and budget.
• Prepare thoughtful proposals. Partner with our design team on visuals and pricing for plants, planters, faux plantings, and maintenance programs, then present and refine with the client.
• Guide the client experience. Serve as the client’s main point of contact from first meeting through installation, then transition them smoothly to our maintenance team.
• Grow recurring revenue. Turn installations into long-term maintenance agreements and identify opportunities for expansion and new locations.
• Keep the team aligned. Track your pipeline and keep Operations in Milford informed of key client dates and details.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2–5 years of B2B sales experience with a consistent record of meeting goals.
• Experience selling facilities or business services: office furniture, office equipment/copier leasing, corporate coffee or breakroom contracts, or similar.
• A consultative, relationship-first approach. You win by solving problems, not by pressure.
• Self-motivation to balance prospecting with assigned leads.
• Polished, professional presence with executives, one-on-one and in groups.
• Strong organization across multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Excel,
• Experience using CRM software such as HubSpot.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle; in the field several days a week across Southeast Michigan.

PREFERRED

• Associate or bachelor’s degree

• BOMA or IFMA involvement

• Background in design, architecture, or construction management

• Familiarity with Adobe InDesign or Photoshop

• Comfort using AI tools to research prospects, draft proposals, and work more efficiently
