Surgical Technologist CVOR First Assist

If you are an experienced surgical technologist passionate about cardiovascular procedures, consider joining us as a Surgical Technologist CVOR First Assist. In this role, you will support surgeons during complex cardiovascular operations by ensuring precision and maintaining sterile environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sterilize instruments and prepare operating rooms specifically for cardiovascular procedures.
• Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments, suturing incisions, or holding retractors as needed.
• Ensure the sterile field is maintained throughout the procedure to prevent infections.
• Monitor equipment functionality during surgeries and report any issues promptly to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare patients for surgery by positioning them appropriately on the operating table and applying sterile drapes specific to cardiovascular procedures.

Work Environment:

• This role is primarily based in hospital cardiovascular operating rooms (CVORs) or specialized surgical centers equipped for advanced heart surgeries.
• The position requires focus and stamina in a high-pressure environment where precision is critical for patient outcomes.
