School Occupational Therapist | Wasilla, Alaska

Job Description
Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services to students, in-person, supporting their academic and functional skill development. Develop and implement IEP goals and treatment plans. Conduct assessments to determine students needs and progress. Provide consultative support to educators and families regarding adaptations, strategies, and interventions. Document services and progress in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines. Contribute as an active member of school interdisciplinary teams.
Key Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Valid Occupational Therapist licensure in Alaska (AK Licensure required)
- TYPE C Certification required
- Previous experience in a school setting or a strong commitment to pediatric populations
- AK-Certified candidates highly preferred
- Ability to manage approximately 1000 minutes of direct student contact per week (16 hours within the total 37.5 hour weekly schedule)
- Comfortable collaborating with students, families, and educational staff
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
