International Order Management Specialist

Full-Time | In-Office

We are seeking an International Order Management Specialist to become the primary point of contact for our global distributor network. This position plays a critical role in ensuring international orders are processed accurately; shipments move efficiently across the globe, and export documentation meets all compliance requirements.

Salary: $50,000 - 55,000 per year depending on experience.

What You'll Do

As our International Order Management Specialist, you'll manage the complete international order process from purchase order through final delivery.

Responsibilities include:

• Process international customer orders accurately within our ERP system
  
• Review purchase orders for pricing, quantities, shipping instructions, and accuracy
  
• Coordinate with Sales, Warehouse, and Finance to ensure timely order fulfillment
  
• Communicate order status and shipment updates with international distributors
  
• Manage backorders, order revisions, and partial shipments
  
• Obtain international freight quotations and select cost-effective shipping methods
  
• Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers
  
• Prepare export documentation including:
  
• Commercial invoices
  
• Packing lists
  
• Certificates of Origin
  
• Bills of Lading
  
• Air Waybills
  
• AES/EEI filings
  
• Letters of Credit documentation
  
• Ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations and destination country import requirements
  
• Determine appropriate HTS classifications
  
• Track shipments and resolve customs or transportation issues
  
• Prepare customer quotations including freight, duties, and insurance
  
• Build strong relationships with international distributor partners
  

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in international order management, export coordination, or international logistics
  
• Experience working within an ERP system
  
• Strong understanding of international shipping documentation
  
• Working knowledge of Incoterms
  
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
  
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
  
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects while maintaining accuracy
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Letters of Credit
  
• Knowledge of EAR and ITAR regulations
  
• Experience filing AES/EEI
  
• Experience working with freight forwarders and customs brokers
  

• Second language skills (Spanish, French, Portuguese, or Mandarin)
  

Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM
