Travel Pharmacy Technician

Torrance, CA

We’re seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician for a travel assignment in Torrance, California. This is a great opportunity to work in a hospital setting with a consistent overnight schedule.

Position Details

• Duration: 9-week contract (option to extend)

• Schedule: 5 x 8-hour shifts

  • Monday – Friday

  • Shifts: 8:00 PM – 4:30 AM or 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM

• Setting: Hospital Pharmacy

Compensation

• $1,215 – $1,350/week (travel package)

Job Description

The Pharmacy Technician will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications within a hospital setting. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision

• Maintain medication inventory and restock supplies

• Accurately label, package, and deliver medications

• Assist with medication reconciliation and record keeping

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards

• Utilize pharmacy systems and EMR for documentation

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

✅ Requirements

• Active Pharmacy Technician Certification

• BLS certification required

• Prior hospital pharmacy experience required

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently on overnight shifts
